Özyeğin University Once Again Made It to the Top 10 Universities According to TÜBİTAK’s "Innovative and Entrepreneurial University Index 2021"

The results of the Innovative and Entrepreneurial University Index 2021, which was prepared under the leadership of the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK), have been announced.  Released annually by TÜBİTAK since 2012, this year marked the 10th edition of the Innovative and Entrepreneurial University Index. According to the results of the Innovative and Entrepreneurial University Index 2021, Özyeğin University once again made it to the top 10 entrepreneurial and innovative universities in Turkey. Özyeğin University was also named one of the four foundation universities that made the top 10 list.

The index rates universities based on 23 indicators across four dimensions: "Scientific & Technological Research Competence", "Intellectual Property Pool", "Cooperation and Interaction", and "Economic and Social Contribution". Compiled from a one-million cell dataset collected from 191 universities with a total number of faculty members greater than 50, the index is aimed at promoting entrepreneurship- and innovativeness-oriented competition and improve the entrepreneurship ecosystem. The index rates universities based on their performance across several domains, offering important inputs for impact analysis.
